Team India registered a thumping 280-run victory over Bangladesh in the first Test of the two-match series on Sunday in Chennai

Former India captain Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant were spotted at Chennai airport after India defeated Bangladesh by 280 runs.

At the end of day three, India was 81/3, with Shubman Gill (33*) and Rishabh Pant (12*) unbeaten, having lost their top order consisting of Rohit (5), Jaiswal (10) and Virat (17) early. India leads by 308 runs.

Ravichandran Ashwin took his 37th five-wicket haul as India beat Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first test on Sunday. Ashwin took 6-88 as Bangladesh was bowled out for 234 runs in its second innings chasing an improbable 515 for victory.

Virat Kohli was seen bowing down to Ravichandran Ashwin after the star spinner took Mehidy Hasan Miraz's wicket on Day 4 of the first Test against Bangladesh.

For the fourth time in his career, Ravichandran Ashwin completed a double of a century and a five-wicket haul in a Test match, and for a second straight time at his home ground in Chennai, as India folded Bangladesh for 234 in the second innings to script a 280-run win in the opening Test.
