A Los Angeles County middle school teacher pleaded not guilty Tuesday to eight felony counts in connection with allegations she sexually abused a male student when he was between the ages of 13 and 14.

"Detectives believe there are additional, unidentified victims of Matarico who have yet to come forward," the LAPD said.
