Israeli forces killed at least 14 Palestinians in tank and air strikes on north and central areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday, medics said, as tanks advanced further into northwest Rafah near the border with Egypt.

JERUSALEM − At least 10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza on Saturday, Palestinian media reported, and the Israeli military said it targeted a Hamas commander as the devastating war stretched into its 11th month.

Another person was killed in Gaza City when a strike hit a group of people on a street.

The attacks came as Israel says three captives who died in Gaza late last year were killed by its own air strikes.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus condemned Israel’s targeting of a convoy managed by the international organization in Gaza.
