Norman Powell scores 26 points and the Clippers take control after halftime on their way to a 110-98 win in George’s first game back since signing with Philadelphia as a free agent this summer.

Naturally, the headliner: the return of Paul George to Los Angeles after his five-year tenure with the Clippers. But both teams had a litany of players with recent experience for their opponent that night. It was almost an afterthought that the Sixers were facing James Harden, a year and change after he was traded to the Clippers.

Norman Powell scored 26 points and James Harden added 18 as the Los Angeles Clippers spoiled the return of Paul George with a 110-98 victory over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday at Inglewood,

Paul George got the basketball on the wing and those same Clippers fans that cheered and adored him during the five years when he was one of their own ... booed him. The boos from the sparse crowd at the Intuit Dome rained down on George all game because he now was a Philadelphia 76er.

The Philadelphia 76ers visited the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, looking to end a three-game skid and continue integrating Paul George into their style to begin the jelling process. They did achieve one of those objectives as George continued to mesh with his new teammates in an effort to move things forward in that department in his return to LA.
