It's not clear if quarterback Zevi Eckhaus will remain with WSU next season, but he made his case for the Cougars' starting QB job in Friday's Holiday Bowl.

The scoreboard doesn’t accurately paint the picture of how well-fought the 2024 Holiday Bowl was. While the Syracuse Orange won comfortably 52-35 over the Washington State Cougars, the game was a war until about the last 10 minutes of gametime.

Ironic, again, right? Fox, with their top crew, the trio featured in the network’s top games, Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft, bringing the nation the Cougars’ fourth consecutive defeat, a 52-35 shootout to the 10-3 Orange.
