Super Eagles are through to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, but their 1-1 draw with Benin makes it even tougher for Libya in the quest to qualify as well.

However, the Super Eagles managed a 1-1 draw against Benin, with star striker Victor Osimhen finding the back of the net to level the game after conceding an early goal.

The Libyan national team stays fighting on to qualify for AFCON 2025 after beating Rwanda in Kigali and Nigeria and Benin Republic share points in Abidjan.

Although the Super Eagles have qualified for the competition, the 1-1 draw means they will finish the group as leaders.
