Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) is to temporarily close from December in a bid to secure its long-term future amid significant financial concerns. The centre, which is home to a number of cultural tenants, said its financial position had become "increasingly challenging over recent months".

Bosses have said that challenges caused by the pandemic and fires at the Glasgow School of Art have left the venue 'no longer viable' in its current state.

Globally renowned artist Craig Black is set to create real-time art at a charity event. Craig, who has worked with brands including FIFA, Porsche, and the NFL, will be performing a live art session in Glasgow next month.
