The Greater Cincinnati region is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The National Weather Service at Wilmington issued the watch at 1:45 p.m. It affects Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren counties in Ohio,

"The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire," states the National Weather Service.

Update: The severe thunderstorm warnings expired for Jackson County at 5:08 p.m. The warning has extended for southwest Jefferson and northeast Shawnee Counties until 5:45 p.m. TOPEKA (KSNT) – Several northeast Kansas counties are under severe storm watches Tuesday afternoon.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Decatur, Hardin, and McNairy County until 7:00 PM CDT.  Strong to severe storms are expected to develop along and east of an advancing surface cold front.
