The two key equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, on Friday pared their gains and ended in the red on profit taking amid volatility. In the morning session, the indices hit their fresh all-time highs.

Power Grid Corp, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Titan Company, and Ultratech cement are the top gainers on NSE Nifty 50 index whereas the top laggards include Bajaj Auto, LTIMindtree, Nestle India, Britannia Industries, and Apollo Hospitals.

On Friday, Indian equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 maintained their upward momentum. Infosys, TCS, and Sun Pharma emerged as top gainers. Meanwhile, financial indices such as Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services ended slightly lower.
