Forward Viktor Neuchev looks to crack the lineup for his first preseason game of 2024 after being a part of Sabres Development Camp earlier this summer, and the Prospects Challenge a few weeks ago. Buffalo selected Neuchev in the third round of the 2022 draft and placed him with the Rochester Americans last year.

The 3-0-0 Sabres visit Canada’s capital city on Thursday night, taking on the Senators inside Canadian Tire Centre. The blue and gold are getting a look at a familiar face in a new place; Linus Ullmark with Ottawa.

Cole Reinhardt is the only player on the roster to participate in all three of Ottawa's preseason games. Considering his 4-point effort in Toronto, he certainly deserves it. He's never been a high-end prospect in Ottawa's system but he's currently pushing Angus Crookshank for a spot on the wing.
