In the new AP college football poll released Sunday — the fifth poll of the 2024 season — Mizzou (4-0) went from No. 7 to No. 11 after narrowly defeating Vanderbilt 30-27. Kansas State (3-1) dropped from No. 13 to No. 23 in the latest rankings after losing 38-9 to BYU.

This spread is under a touchdown, which means K-State has a chance to cover even if this game turns out to be close. But this is a tricky spot for K-State.
